The National Insurance Institute (INS), has purchased the AuraPortal BPMS platform with the intention of automation customer relations and coordinating client information between departments.
Due to the newly competitive insurance market, INS has undertaken several initiatives in the past few years in order to modernize its technological infrastructure. This project involves an Electronic Customer Record, which work together with three key processes: Assurance, Data Modification and Claims.
The technological platform needs to be able to communicate with 2,500 employees spread across a wide network of administrative and sales offices around Costa Rica, and maintain more than 1,000,000 customer's information, policies and claims, and scanned documents.
The benefits of the Electronic Customer Record, based entirely on the AuraPortal software, include the ability to access to all customer information in just one place, displaying all paperwork submitted by the customer as well as their status. In addition the software offers management reports on the institution´s key processes, to allow quick decision-making and flexibility in process configuration.
